A Chicago-land artist they call Mutt. I create art focused on the gothic, the macabre, surreal, character study, and everything else in-between.

Here you will find info regarding my commission pricing and what types are currently offered.
These prices are intended for work that is personal use only. Please email me at [email protected] for commercial work.

PLEASE NOTE: All prices listed below are starting prices. Price can/will increase based on the amounts of characters in a single drawing. Along with character complexity (how much detail is on the character). This includes detailed markings, outfits, objects on or near character, etc. When commissions are open, please send a DM or email ([email protected]) for a price quote inquiry. If you are unsure whether your ideal commission includes a price increase or not. Thank you!

Sketch Commission:

A quick, unpolished drawing. Resembles more of a quick gesture drawing. No colors, only sketched with black and white.

Headshots - $8

Fullbody - $18

Simple/Flat Shade

A cel like shading with a simple or no background. Full backgrounds are not available at this time.

Full Render/Painterly

Fully rendered (meaning a complete painting - objects are defined by a light source and textures), painterly style finish. With a simple or no background.

Terms of Service

Payment

  • Paypal or Venmo

  • Full payment must be made until any process has begun

  • You must read, agree, and abide by a contract that is given upon acceptance. This contract ensures both I, the artist, and you, the commissioner, are held responsible for our roles during the commission. Please only commission, if you are ready for the responsibilities of payment!

Myself, the artist, retains the rights to:

  • To the artwork itself, not to the characters shown, unless they are stated to be mine.

  • To upload the artwork on my Portfolio and social medias. This includes Instagram, Tumblr, Blusky, and Tiktok (speedpaints). If you do not wish for your commission to be posted. You must notify me before the commission is completed.

  • I hold the right to use the artwork to promote myself and my business. With given credit to any characters used in the promotions that do not belong to me.

  • I retain the right to refuse/cancel the commission if you, the commissioner, display hateful, rude, or inappropriate behavior. I am not a machine, please treat me with the respect I show you.

You, the Commissioner retain the rights to:

  • Upload the commission on your social medias only with clear given credit to the artist, myself.

  • Use the artwork to promote yourself, only with clear given credit to the artist.

  • May NOT use the commission for any sort of AI generative purpose. This is a non-negotiable rule.

  • May NOT use the artwork for profit. This is for personal use only.

  • May print the artwork for personal use only. Such as wanting to hang the artwork in your home, make personal stickers, have the art on a phone case, etc. Reminder: only printing for personal use. Not for commercial profit

All Artwork is put through NightShade. A program that helps against generative AI thievery. No artwork is sent unless it is put through this system. No artwork can be given without this process. This is a non-negotiable rule.

Other Important Information

  • Contact: Communication is best through Telegram or Email. I can also work through DM on Instagram and Blusky.

  • What I draw: General OC's, Monsters, Anthros/Furries, Humanoids/Humans, - Mechas/Robots I can give a go, but they are not my strongest point. Such shapes may include a price increase. Suggestive clothing or poses are okay.

  • What I will NOT draw: No full on NSFW at this time (perhaps someday), Sonic OC's (I'm just not into that style at all), super cute, or complicated backgrounds.

  • Time-frame for the commission will be given upon the commissioner receiving the contract. For a base idea, Sketch commissions are the fastest to complete. A Full rendered commission will take the longest. Time-frame depends on other factors taking place in life. Along with how many other commissions there are at the time.

  • The process goes as follows: Four to Six thumbnails (quick drawings) based on commissioner's idea for the commission. Once a thumbnail is picked, the first sketch will be made. Secondly a more polished sketch is completed. Following the completed lineart. Then finally colors are added finishing off with the rendering. Revisions can be made during the process. However, they must be limited as the commission progresses.

How to Order a Commission

  • Email me at [email protected] or contact via Instagram, Telegram, or Blusky (all under the username 'xeyedmutt').

  • If contacting via email. Please note in the subject line "Inquiry for (Commission type here)". EX: "Inquiry for a Headshot, Fully rendered Commission"

  • In your message please verify the type of commission you are interested in purchasing. A clear character ref sheet. Any general ideas for the poses, outfits, actions, etc. Verify your payment method (either Paypal or Venmo). Finally, any social medias you wish to be tagged through once I post the art.
